Ramzi Hijazi is Head of the Advisory & Research Unit of Sator S.p.A., which provides Sator Capital Limited with advisory services and develops industry researches to identify new investment opportunities.
He is Chairman of the Management Committee of News 3.0 S.p.A.
Formerly, he was Head of Corporate Banking and Syndicated Finance of Mediocredito Centrale, with responsibility for Corporate Lending, Leveraged Finance and Real Estate Finance within the Structured Finance Department. Since 1996, he has held several managerial roles in the structured finance area of Mediocredito Centrale, with responsibilities for origination, structuring and execution of acquisition and leveraged finance transactions for primary Italian corporates and financial sponsors, as well as serving as a member of the bank’s credit committee. He has also worked in financial advisory projects for small and medium sized companies.
Before joining the Capitalia Group, Ramzi Hijazi spent six years working at BZW, where he was responsible for major Italian corporates, including state-owned companies IRI and ENI. In his role, he was involved in debt restructuring programs, preparation of credit reviews, credit analysis and support for on-going transactions in export finance, project finance and corporate finance areas, analysis and general execution of M&A and other corporate finance transactions, advisory work, including valuation of target companies and preparation of business plans.
Prior to this, he worked at Barclays Bank Plc as Credit Analyst.
Ramzi Hijazi received a BA in Business Administration with specialisation in International Finance from the George Washington University-Washington D.C. in 1989.
