Franco Parasassi is board member of Sator S.p.A..

He is Managing Director of Fondazione Roma, formerly Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Roma, later Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Roma, where he started working in 1997 as Assistant to the Chairman, later becoming, in 2001, General Secretary. Before joining Fondazione Roma, he worked in the leasing department of a few Italian banks for several years.

Over the years, he was member of Boards of Directors and Strategic Committees of several Italian Foundations; also, he was member of the Resource and Development Committee and of the Legal and Tax Task Forces of the European Foundation Center.

He was speaker at many conferences on the subject of the relationship between banking foundations and local development, welfare, law and ethics, research, medicine and voluntary associations. He also delivered lectures at universities and executive training programmes, discussing foundations and non-profit organizations. Franco Parasassi is:

• Board member of Fondazione Roma – Mediterraneo;
• Secretary of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Roma;
• Secretary of the Strategic Committee of Fondazione Roma;
• Voting member in all the consultative committees created within Fondazione Roma.
