Alberto Poggiano serves as analyst in the Advisory & Research Unit of Sator S.p.A., which provides Sator Capital Limited with advisory services and develop industry researches to identify new investment opportunities.
Formerly, he was Senior Portfolio Manager at Capitalia Asset Management in charge of the European Small Cap Fund, responsible for the entire investment decision process: from stock selection to building models and portfolio management.
Previously he has been a Senior Portfolio Manager at BG SGR (previously Generali Asset Management) responsible for the Euro Small Cap Fund and, before joining GAM, he was a sell-side financial analyst at Chevreaux (Credit Agricole Group) focused on the Italian Small Cap Sector, producing several notes a year.
He worked also as an Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers on many projects on Italian blue chips as well as on bad debt securitization projects, together with investment banks, for clients valuing distressed assets.
Mr. Poggiano received a BA cum laude in Business Administration from the University of Naples Federico II and a Master in International Finance from the Almo Collegio Borromeo-University of Pavia.
